Rendered before the ground was broken
Twenty-four renders covering three modular cabin types — eight views each — for Holz Homes, a German manufacturer selling forest cabins near Berlin before the sites were cleared. Buyers picked a house type from images of a building that existed only as a model.
Selling a house that exists only as a model
Holz Homes builds modular cabins for wooded plots near Berlin, and the commercial model depends on selling a unit before the site is cleared and construction starts. That leaves nothing to photograph — no show home, no finished interior, often not even a cleared plot. Architectural rendering was the only way to put the product in front of a buyer at the point where the buying decision actually happens.
Twenty-four renders across three house types
We delivered eight renders for each of the three cabin types, twenty-four in total, over roughly eight weeks. Each type was modelled once and then rendered across its full set, so the eight images of a given cabin read as one consistent shoot rather than eight separate attempts at the same building.
What a photo shoot could not have done
Even once the first cabins were standing, photography would have documented one finished unit, on one plot, in one season. The renders covered all three types on ground that had not been touched yet, and they existed at the point in the sales cycle when the images were actually needed.
